"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are." — Mary Jean Irion
From a hilltop studio just north of Hermann, Linda Heck captures the rich colors and textures of Missouri Wine Country in oils and watercolors. Finding year-round inspiration in nature, her work reflects the ever-changing tapestry of a rural landscape.
Recently retired from a 26-year teaching career, which launched many students into successful careers in art and graphic design, Linda is now a full-time working artist. Her numerous commissions include the Gasconade County Courthouse mural project and First Bank calendars and greeting cards, which received nationwide attention.
She is a member of the St. Louis Art Guild, Columbia Art Guild, and Missouri Watercolor Society. Her work can be seen at the Kunstlerhaus Gallery in Hermann.
